Berkut fighters assault Red Cross centre and shoot at medics (video)
6 Berkut fights have burst into a Red Cross office in Grushevski Street today. Doctors and the wounded were inside.
Berkut fighters started breaking the windows, the press service of Svoboda reports. Then they threw several flash-bang grenades and used tear gas in the rooms. Medics had to flee leaving all the medicines behind.
A Berkut fighter shot at a medic who was trying to evacuate an injured person from the building. The fighter shot at him although the nurse boy was wearing a red vest with the symbols of the Red Cross. He did it on purpose, the medic said.
