Nemtsov memorial march as seen from above (video)
About 50 thousand people joined the action in central Moscow in memory of the murdered Russian opposition leader Boris Nemtsov.
The mourning march in memory of Boris Nemtsov was held in the centre of Moscow on March 1. The Russian opposition planned to organize the march Vesna in the outskirts of the city at first. However, the plan changed after the murder of the politician. The action organizers managed to get permission to change the format and itinerary of the manifestation.
According to organizers, from 50 to 70 thousand people came to the action. There were 44 thousand people present, Moscow police say.
People had to queue near metal detectors for 1.5 hours t get to the action. Moskvoretskaya Quay was full of people.
