BSB Bank restricts foreign currency sale
Dollars cannot be received at cash dispensers either.
BSB Bank clients had problems buying foreign currency with the help of SMS banking on the evening of January 14. It was impossible to transfer more than 50 dollars from a rouble to a dollar bank card, the service centre told Euroradio.
BSB Bank: “There is a restriction: 50 dollars a day. It is temporarily impossible to withdraw foreign currency from bank cards either. The term of the restriction has not been defined yet.”
As far as we know, the other banks have not introduced such restrictions yet.
The dollar exchange rate exceeded Br20 thousand on January 14 in Belarus.
