Commander of Foreign Intelligence Service unit abducted in Crimea
Colonel Igor Losnikov was abducted by a group of armed soldiers in Russian uniform without tokens in Yalta on March 18.
The abduction was organized near Losnikov’s house at about 6 p.m., UNIAN reports. The colonel was returning home from work and his wife and two children were waiting for him. The man was attacked when he was getting out of his car. The strangers pushed him into a black Mercedes-VITO #7766 and drove him away in an unknown direction.
Colonel Losnikov is the commander of the military unit of the Foreign Intelligence Service deployed near Alushta. It was seized by armed people a few days ago.
The Ukrainian Foreign Intelligence Service managed to release the officer having threatened Russians with actions in response to the abduction.
