Dashkevich officially offered to file pardon appeal only once

Zmitser Dashkevich has told about this at a press-conference. According to him, such offer occurred during the common wave of release of political prisoners, when the authorities set free about 10 people. "The Head of the colony invited me for a conversation and promised to release me if I sign such appeal. I refused," Dashkevich said.
Alongside with that, Dashkevich said there had been many non-official offers of the kind. However, the Young Front leader doesn't know whether it was the initiative of the local prison administration or the order from the above.
The 32-year-old political prisoner was set free from Hrodna prison on Wednesday, August 28.
