Deputy head of BPF to start trial in Minsk again
Yuras Belenki has been accused of organizing an unauthorized meeting in Kurapaty forest.
Minsk District Court will consider another administrative case started against deputy head of the BPF Party Yuras Belenki on December 3. He is accused of organizing a meeting in Kurapaty on Dzyady (November 2). The trial will start at 11 a.m.
The politician has already been fined for Br7.5 million by two courts for manifestations in Kurapaty and Loshytsa. Yuras Belenki is accused of ‘organizing a meeting in Kurapaty without taking the necessary security measures which violated the meeting organization rules’, Radio Liberty reports. Soviet punitive organs shot dozens of thousands of people in Kurapaty Tract situated not far from Minsk.
