Domracheva wins Small Crystal Globe in sprint
This is the Belarusian biathlete’s fifth trophy of the kind.
Darya Domracheva has won a Small Crystal Globe in sprint races.
The Belarusian biathlete was in the 25th place in sprint at the World Championship on March 7. She was ahead of her closest rival Finn Kaisa Mäkäräinen. Domracheva has 368 points and Mäkäräinen – 304.
There is only one sprint race left at the World Championship, Pressball reports. It will be held in Khanty-Mansiysk. Its winner will only be able to get 60 points. It means that nobody is able to leave Domracheva behind now.
It will be the fifth Small Crystal Globe won by our compatriot. Domracheva won the mass starts in 2011, 2012 and 2014 and the pursuit in 2012.
