Dozens of children kidnapped in Nigeria
About 30 children have been kidnapped in north-eastern Nigeria. Boko Haram militants are blamed for it.
All girls older than 11 and boys older than 13 have been kidnapped from the village of Mafa, one of the elders from Borno state reported. Islamists attacked on Thursday and killed 17 people, BBC reports.
The Nigerian authorities are negotiating with militants with the assistance of neighbouring Chad. A ceasefire agreement has been reached, the sides reported. Parts of Boko Haram not supporting the peaceful process are to blame for the attacks, Chad claimed.
Nigeria is accusing bandits of the kidnapping.
