‘DPR’ and ‘LPR’ leaders not to attend Minsk meeting
They will send their representatives to the meeting of the contact group.
The leader of the self-declared DPR’ and ‘LPR’ have refused to take part in the negotiations of the contact group in Minsk today, head of the ‘DPR’ People’s Council Andrei Purgin said. Alexander Zakharchenko and Igor Plotnitski will send their representatives to Belarus. They have explained their decision by the fact that the work will be conducted by subgroups.
The agenda has not been defined so far. Four subgroups of experts will work on their issues but they are unlikely to sign important documents. They are planning to touch upon economic problems, restoration of objects and helping refuges, mk.ru reports.
The meeting of the contact group will start at 2 p.m.
