Driving instructor runs over woman at pedestrian crossing (photo)
The incident occurred in Minsk Zavodski District on the morning of February 24. The woman received head and leg traumas and was taken to hospital.
A driving instructor ran over a 42-year-old woman at a pedestrian crossing in his Volkswagen Golf on the morning of February 24. The 52-year-old man was heading for Partyzanski Avenue. The woman was thrown onto the car bonnet. The instructor stopped the car 20 or 30 metres away from the spot.
The driver explained that he was driving at the speed of 60 or 70 km/h and had not noticed the woman, Minsk-News reports. She had no flickers on her clothes. The woman received head and leg injuries and was taken to hospital.
