Ex-defense minister's son in charge of security at nuclear power plant
An Interior Troops militart unit will be deployed to guard and protect the nuclear power plant that is being constructed in Astravets neat the border with Lithuania, Interior Troops spokesperson Uladzimir Parkhomtsau told BelaPAN.
The unit has received its identification number 7434. It will be fully set up in September 2017.
The unit's commanding officer will be Colonel Viktar Zhadobin, the son of the former State Secretary of Security Council, former Defense Minister Yury Zhadobin, who was dismissed in 2014.
