Germany, France propose to gather Normandy Four foreign ministers in Minsk
On November 29, Minsk can host a meeting of Normandy Four (France, Germany, Russia and Ukraine) foreign ministers following the proposal put forward by French and German foreign policy chiefs, reports sputnik.by.
German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said that together with France's Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayralt he offered the Russian and Ukrainian ministers "to meet again next week in Minsk." He hopes his Russian and Ukrainian counterparts "assess the seriousness of the situation in a similar way."
The ministers are expected to continue negotiations on the implementation of the Minsk agreements for the long-term settlement of the conflict in Ukraine.
