Karatkevich treats students to free coffee (photo)
Presidential candidate Tatstsyana Karatkevich discussed politics with BSU students on the morning of September 22. The small picket with free coffee and distribution of ‘Karatkevich’s diplomas’ took half an hour and did not cause any stir. About 10 or 15 students stopped in order to see the first female presidential candidate in the history of Belarus. Karatkevich told them what she would do to the BRYU (if she was elected), what Belarus had to aim for, why the compulsory assignment had to be cancelled and why it was bad to vote early. Everyone could drink free coffee from a vacuum bottle.
