Kremlin shows Putin after eight days of absence (photo)
All this time media spread rumors about health problems of the Russian leader.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has appeared in public for the first time after eight days of absence. On March 13, he met with Chairman of the Supreme Court of Russia Vyacheslav Lebedev, Kremlin press service reports.
On the three photos attached to the press release Putin is shown either sideways, from the right side or from the back.
Russian President has not appeared in public since March 5. Yesterday, however, he spoke on the phone with his Armenian counterpart Serzh Sargsyan. This was reported by the Kremlin press service, as well as the site of the Armenian president.
Putin's prolonged absence generated a lot of rumors. Bloggers, as well as some media, speculated that the Russian leader had health problems.
