Kyiv, DPR and LPR representatives to meet on 6 May in Minsk
The contact group on Ukraine will reconvene in the Belarusian capital.
On Wednesday, May 6, Minsk will host the next meeting of the contact group on Ukraine. It is expected to begin at 14:00, RIA Novosti reports, citing an unnamed source in the diplomatic circles.
It is noted that the representative of the official Kyiv, ex-President of Ukraine, Leonid Kuchma, will arrive in Minsk on Wednesday at noon. There will also be representatives of Russia and the OSCE.
According to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Minsk will host a meeting of the contact group, as well as meeting of the four subgroups - on security, the political process, the economy and the humanitarian aspects of the crisis.
The previous session of the contact group took place in Minsk in mid-February in parallel with the "Normandy summit." The militant leaders Alexander Zakharchenko and Igor Plotnitsky came to the Belarusian capital from Donbas. They are not coming this time.
