Late woman’s name on voting list in Slonim

Dead people’s names have been found on a voting list in Slonim. Local resident Uladzimir Litsvin realized it when he received an invitation to vote addressed to his mother Hanna Ilinichna Hilimonchyk long ago, Viasna reports. The man told the election committee members that his mother had died in August 2014.

“I asked them to cross her name out from the voting list with a pen but they did it with a pencil,” Litsvin said.
