Live chains reach Independence Square after Solidarity Picket in Minsk

The lines of people, gathered for a solidarity picket in the center of Minsk, gradually turned into live chains.
The picket was held near the Philharmonic in Yakub Kolas Square. The line of those willing to sign first reached Victory Square, and then stretched further along Independence Avenue. Although the picket ended at 21:00, Minsk citizens continued to stand in live chains. They were supported by many motorists driving by.
The live chain reached Independence Square, then turned to Babruiskaya Street. In the end, people simply began to gather in live chains in different streets in the center of Minsk - Myasnikova Street, on Niamiha.
Most of the participants said that they were pushed to the street by the feeling of indignation at the behavior of the authorities.
