Lukashenka: We are not scared
Belarus president gathers Security Council to discuss preparations for the world ice hockey championship in Minsk and the crisis in Ukraine.
Aliaksandr Lukashenka has demanded that security at the championship in May be provided without making guests feel uncomfortable. It is essential to prevent provocations, he stressed.
The state leader also mentioned the events in Ukraine. “I am going to to warn you: we are not scared of anything. I do not see any fear in the eyes of the Security Council members,” interfax.by quotes Lukashenka as saying.
Belarus needs to draw its own conclusions from the events in Ukraine, Lukashenka said.
