Lukashenka: West wanted to disrupt my visit to Serbia
The Belarusian President is surprised at the West’s reaction to his official visit to Serbia.
Alyaksandr Lukashenka announced it during his negotiations with Serbian President Tomislav Nikolić in Belgrade on June 12.
"I asked about the reaction of the European community and USA to my visit to Serbia before setting off. I no longer see anything through rose-coloured spectacles. Nevertheless, I was surprised at their position. They were ready to do everything to disrupt this visit or make it unnoticed in Serbia,” BELTA quotes the Belarusian leader.
The Belarusian delegation is not trying ‘to act against anyone in Serbia’, Lukashenka noted. They have come to do the maximum in our bilateral relations. He also mentioned the brotherly nature of Belarus-Serbia relations.
