Makei to meet with EU foreign ministers in Brussels
Belarus Foreign Minister Uladzimir Makei will head to Brussels on May 23 to meet with the foreign policy chiefs of EU member states and Eastern Partnership member states, Belarusian MFA spokesperson Dzmtry Mironchyk said in a statement.
The meeting in Brussels will focus on the current status of the Eastern Partnership initiatives and its prospects "in the context of the revision of EU's neighborhood policy." The minsters will also discuss preparations for the Eastern Partnership Summit in 2017, reports the state news agency BELTA.
When in Brussels, Uladzimir Makei will present Belarus' proposals as to the reform of the initiative. He can also have bilateral meetings.
