MIA: Ukraine helped to detain Azov fighter aka 'Terror Machine'
The main official media outlet of the country - the newspaper "SB Belarus Today" - published an article about the detained Vitsebsk citizen Stanislau Hancharou. As was previously reported, the 20-year-old fought in the Ukrainian battalion "Azov", and after returning home was arrested and charged with hooliganism.
Experts of the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime and Corruption at the Ministry of Internal Affairs who detained Hancharou said that the operation was using the info from Ukrainian side:
"Hancharou was number one on our wanted list of fighters who are subject to detention if they are back to Belarus. The international alert system for such persons crossing the border worked well, including with the assistance of the Ukrainian side. The fact is that the movement these villains is under the control of law enforcement bodies. Not a single country would benefit from thuggish fighters being at large, being a threat, coming home with weapons and crippled psyche, criminal intent etc."
Earlier it was reported that the reason for Hancharou's detention was his actions in the autumn of 2013, when in Orsha he made two 13-year-olds renounce anti-fascist movement and give the nazi salute.
