Michael Schumacher comes to senses
The legendary Formula-1 racing driver is recovering.
The sportsman’s health condition is improving and he has managed to recognize his wife, the racing driver’s manager Sabine Kehm said.
Schumacher is recovering after his medically induced coma and is still very weak – he keeps waking up and falling asleep. Kehm did not report any other details about his health condition and claimed that his client’s personal life was more important to her.
Michael Schumacher, 45, lapsed into a coma at the beginning of the year. He received a cerebral injury while skiing in the French Alps on December 29. The racing driver has undergone two operations since then.
Schumacher’s body temperature was lowered to 34 degrees in order to lower the risk of brain edema. His muscles are massaged every day, foreign information agencies report.
