Minsk airport stalls after bomb threat by Russian citizen
While boarding the plane in the Minsk airport, a Russian citizen said he had a bomb in his suitcase. The foreigner made a joke after he did not like being offered to wear boot covers for inspection. It is noted that the Russians had "a little" drink before the flight, but "felt fine".
As reported by RIA Novosti, the police arrived at the scene, and the Russian citizen was detained. Later, he was released on bail. The case is being investigated.
Interestingly, the incident occurred as back as the end of 2015, but the issue has become known only now. The violator of the public order used to work in the Belarusian law enforcement agencies, but then became retired, received Russian citizenship and is now working in one of the private companies in Russia.
