Belarus PM in New York calls to lift sanctions against enterprises
The Belarusian PM has met Democratic member of the U.S. House of Representatives Hakeem Jeffries in New York.
They met during the first Belarusian-American Investment Forum. Mihail Myasnikovich discussed political interaction between Belarus and the United States.
"We discussed politics and sanctions. There are no reasons to impose sanctions on a number of Belarusian enterprises,” BELTA quotes the Belarusian official.
The congressmen valued Belarus and Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s part in settling the Ukrainian conflict, Myasnikovich said.
The U.S. Congress House for Representatives will consider the possibility of sending a delegation to Belarus, the Belarusian PM said. They will get acquainted with the conditions for active business and suggest political solutions to create comfortable conditions to trade, economic and investment cooperation.
