Niasvizh Castle may be excluded from UNESCO's list
The reason for this is use of foam concrete blocks and other restoration flaws.
A Chairman of the voluntary partnership for protection of historical and cultural monuments Anton Astapovich has informed about this. According to him, the restoration flaws are so obvious that the experts might fail to notice them only if they are drunk.
A director of the National historical-cultural museum-reserve "Niasvizh" Siarhej Klimau does not think that the situation is that dramatic. However, he has also underlined that the restoration is not being conducted properly. According to him, specialists' requests are ignored by builders and restorators. “They do not create interiors,they create some theatrical scenery”, — Klimau has said in an interview to Belsat.
