NPP is built according to schedule, Lukashenka is told (photo)
Alyaksandr Lukashenka visited the NPP construction site in Astravets District on Friday, October 9, BELTA reports. The work is being done according to the schedule, vice PM Victar Syamashka told the President.
Lukashenka was interested in security and stressed that there was no need to hurry while building the NPP. The construction is under strict control, Syamashka assured.
The first power generating unit is expected to be built in 2018 and the second one – in 2020, Euroradio reported. The installation of the nuclear reactor and turbine will start next year.
