Official unemployment rate quadruples in a year in Minsk
The number of officially registered unemployed reached 6.6 thousand people in Minsk at the end of August – it is 4.1 times more that at the end of August 2014 and 0.2% more than at the end of July 2015, BelaPAN refers to the labour and social protection department of Minsk City Executive Committee.
The official unemployment rate reached 0.6% of the active population at the end of August 2015 (0.1% in August 2014).
1 million 76.4 thousand people worked in Minsk in August 2015. It is 0.8% less than last August.
