Parting with Alyaksei Karol in Minsk
The parting with Alyaksei Karol, editor-in-chief of the independent newspaper Novy Chas, will be held in Minsk on September 25. He died in Singapore at the age of 70 on September 12. He was undergoing treatment there. Karol’s ashes will be buried at the North Cemetery in Minsk today.
The parting ceremony will start at 2 p.m. and end at 4 p.m. in Minsk Palace of Arts (Kazlova Street, 3, metro station Ploshcha Peramohi).
