PM: Belarus offers tractors and combine-harvesters to Pakistan

Belarus considers Pakistan a reliable partner in the Asian region, Belarus Prime Minister Andrei Kabyakou said on November 10 in Islamabad at the III Belarus-Pakistan business and investment forum, BelaPAN reports quoting the press service of the Belarusian government.

According to Kabyakou, there are real prerequisites for a meaningful and long-term development of trade-economic and investment cooperation between the two countries. "We have everything we need to significantly increase turnover, and our medium-term objective is to achieve a figure of US $1 billion and create joint ventures," said the head of government.

Kabyakou said that Belarus is ready to supply to Pakistan MTZ tractors, Homsyalmash harvesters, MAZ trucks, Amkador road construction equipment, Belshina tires and Bellegpram products.
 
Belarus traditionally buys in Pakistan textiles, rice, vegetables and fruits. Also, our country is interested in the raw materials and components for light industry products.

Andrei Kabyakou also held a meeting with his Pakistani counterpart, Nawaz Sharif, during which they signed the road map of cooperation between Belarus and Pakistan till 2020, BelTA reports.
