Protest near Russian embassy in Minsk - in pictures
An unauthorized protest action took place on Saturday, April 2 - the Day of Unity of Peoples of Belarus and Russia - near the Russian embassy in Minsk. It was organized by the Young Front organzation registered in Czech Republic. Over a dozen young people were seen holding posters and white-red-white flags to protest against "Russian chavinism and imperialism."
The police did not disperse the protest but drew up offence protocols for the participants of the protest. Towards the end of the action, the protesters sang Almghty God Belarusian anthem and left.
