Putin: Russia never objected to rapprochement with EU (video)
Russian president says at the CIS summit in Minsk that his country is not against getting closer to Europe.
The statement was made at the meeting of the Council of Heads of CIS Member States on October 9 in Minsk. Talking about the possibility of rapproachment between Russian and other former Soviet states with the European Union, Putin said that it was the European Union that is not ready for a dialogue or to take the interests of the Russian Federation into account.
