8.9-magnitude quake hits Indonesia
It has been registered near the Western coast of the Indonesian island Sumatra.
The hypocenter was 22 km deep. Two more 8.1 and 8.3-magnitude shocks were registered several minutes later, informs Reuters.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre has pronounced another tsunami warning for the Indian Ocean. According to Indonesian meteorologists, the water level in the western and northern districts of Aceh Province has increased by 80 cm. However, waves are only 17 cm high.
No information about Belarusian tourists in Indonesia is available.
