Activist fined for dog walking without a muzzle
Julia Lapkouskaya was detained at home and stood trial several hours later. According to the policemen, she swore at them.
This has been reported to
Euroradio by another activist of the "Tell the Truth" youth branch
"Zmena" Alyaksandr Artsybashau. According to him,
the police first came to his place. He did not open the door so they went
further to Lapkouskaya.
The girl informed that the policemen had behaved rather politely, and had
written in the protocol that she walked her dog without a muzzle. A district
police officer allegedly noticed that and warned Julia Lapkouskaya, in reply to
which Julia allegedly swore at him.
Several hours later Lapkouskaya stood trial in the House of Justice. She was
fined for 200 thousand roubles.
Let us remind you, another "Zmena" activist Pavel Vinahradau was also detained on Friday morning. He is waiting for a trial.
