Akute to be a support act for Placebo in Minsk
The famous Brits liked the music played by the Mahileu band.
The band Akute will be a support act for Placebo. The organizers of the Brits' concert in Minsk informed this on their facebook page. According to the Akute leader Raman Zhyharau, the musicians hoped that this would happen when they filed an application for participation in the casting.
Raman Zhyharau: "Of course we expected this. We filed an application like all the other bands, although I don't know them. However, we participated in the casting together with everyone else, on the same conditions".
According to Raman, the musicians found out about their participation in the concert only today, so they know nothing in details. Let us remind you, the concert agency "Entertainment Corporation" announced a contest among the Belarusian bands before the stars of the world Brit-rock arrived to Minsk. Placebo frontman Molko and the band's directors selected the support act together. Let us remind you, the concert will take place on September 22 in the Palace of Sports.
