Alyaksandr Lukashenka becomes publicist

The head of the Russian government published an article about a new Eurasian integration project in this edition on October 4. He thinks that the Customs Union and the Single Economic Area may become a basis of the Eurasian Union that will connect Asia-Pacific and Europe in the future.
Lukashenka thinks that the article is a real idea and praises the strategy. In his opinion, “only stupid people can accuse the article and its author of pre-election dissimulation”. The Belarusian leader also notes that he has always considered the collapse of the Soviet Union to be a serious mistake. However, the integration processes on the post-Soviet territory do not mean that Belarus will lose its independence.
