Belarus-EU dialogue in Brussels
The talks focuse on economic and financial issues.
The second phase of the dialogue was hosted by European Commission headquarters. Belarus was represented by deputy Minister of Economy Dzmitry Haluhou and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Economy, National Bank and Belarusian representative office in the EU. Europe was represented by Head of Unit Neighbourhood Countries – Macro-Financial Assistance Directorate General for Economic and Financial Affairs of the European Commission Heliodoro Temprano and members of the European Commission and the European External Action Service.
The sides exchanged opinions on "the main macroeconomic tendencies in Belarus and the EU," BelTA reports. Mutual interest in "quality expansion of contacts in economic and financial spheres was confirmed.
