Belarus-EU dialogue on economic issues to take place in Brussels
The second round of the dialogue is planned on November 21. The first one took place on October 6, 2011 in Minsk.
The participants
of the meeting in Brussels will discuss the
condition of the state debt and the macroeconomic
situation in Belarus, informs interfax.by
with a reference to the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Belarusian side will provide information on privatization and economic
liberalization in Belarus, the state of
the Customs Union of Belarus,
Kazakhstan and Russia.
The Belarusian delegation to Brussels is led by Deputy Minister of Economy Dzmitry Holukhau. It will include
Deputy Minister of Finance Maxim Yermalovich, and Permanent Representative of
Belarus to the EU Andrej
Yeudachenka.
On the EU side, the
dialogue will bring together representatives
of the European Commission's Directorate for Economic and Financial Affairs, Directorate General of development assistance,
the Directorate General for Trade and
the European External Action Service.
