Belarus to get foreign investments for about 4 billion USD in 2012
Vice PM Syarhej Rumas has informed this at the joint session of the National Assembly's two chambers.
According to the official's words reported by BELTA, the common scope of direct foreign investments into Belarus will make about 4 billion USD in 2012. 2,5 billion USD of them will come from selling the state's controlling stake of "Beltransgas" shares. According to the Vice PM, in 2011 the scope of foreign investments has made about 1 billion 300 million USD for the first nine months.
Foreign investors are mostly interested in non-production sphere.
