Belarus to sell its Beltransgaz share?
Natallya Zharnasek, director of the state property fund of the State Property Committee, has mentioned the possibility at a press conference in Minsk today.
"The state may sell its MTS and “Beltrangaz” shares as well as the shares of the united company that is being created on the basis of “Hrodna Nitrogen” and “Hrodna man-made fiber”, - noted Zharnasek.
In the case of “Beltransgaz”, “the “state’s share” may be sold.
Let us remind you that “Gazprom” bought 50% of shares of “Beltransgaz” in 2007-2010 for 2.5 billion dollars.
The deal was concluded after the ABN Amro bank assessed the market price of the assets of “Beltransgaz” at the end of 2006 - $5bn.
