Belarusian women's hockey team debutes with devastating defeat

The players of the only professional women's hockey team in Belarus "Pantera" made their debut in the Austrian elite league on September 23. They started with a devastating defeat. According to the official webpage of the Belarusian Hockey Federation, "Pantera" lost an away game to the Slovakian team "Slovan" (Bratislava) - 0:7. The game was held in the framework of the Austrian elite league. The Belarusian "Pantera" will play against the Austrian side "Vienna Flyers" today, and on September 25 they will meet with "Slovan" again. The championship of the Austrian elite women's hockey league will last till the end of February, 2012.
