“Beltransgaz” sold to Russia
“Gazprom” and the Belarusian State Property Committee have signed the agreement about the sale of “Beltransgaz” today.
Thus, Russia owns 100% of the shares of the Belarusian gas transport company. “Gazprom” has paid $2.5bn for the second half of the shares. According to the agreement, the minimum extra charge for the gas “Beltarnsgaz” will sell to Belarusian consumers will total 15.59 dollars for one thousand cubic metres. It will change according to the inflation rate in the future, informs BelaPAN.
