CEC: Election valid as turnout climbs at 50%
A half of registered voters has casted ballots by 1400 Belarus time.
BELTA reminds this is enough to declare the election valid.
By 1400, 45.7% have voted in Brest region; 57.1% - in Vitsebsk region; 56.5% - in Homel region; 47.9% - in Hrodna region; 51.4% - in Minsk region; 54.8% - in Mahilyou region; 39.7% - in Minsk; 40.1% - abroad.
