The "Young Front" leader Zmitser Dashkevich starts studying the materials of his criminal case, initiated for "especially malicious hooliganism", since today.
Dashkevich may face punishment in the form of restriction of freedom for 3-5 years, or imprisonment for 3-10 years. The accusation was presented to Zmitser Dashkevich and the "Young Front" activist Edward Lobau on January 6.
Let us remind you, the "Young Front" members Zmitser Dashkevich, Edward Lobau and Dzianis Lazar were detained in Minsk on December 18. According to the information provided by the official web-site of the city administration of internal affairs of Minsk city executive committee, the youngsters were detained in the yard of a residential building at Janka Bryl Street , as they allegedly beat two unknown people.
Zmitser Dashkevich and Edward Lobau have not considered themselves guilty from the very beginning and said it was a provocation of the special services, aimed at their isolation before the presidential election, the human rights center "Viasna" informs.
