EU and U.S. Ambassadors ignore parade
Festive events were held without participation of EU and U.S. diplomats, like on May 9.
Some European diplomats informed at a press-conference on June 29 that they had received invitations for the Independence Day events less than a week before the actual date. This made their participation impossible due to the planned schedule.
Belarusian MFA did not comment on the situation, but noted they had a right to send invitations any moment, BelaPAN reports.
Let us remind you, representatives of the EU and the U.S. did not take part in the Victory Day festive events on May 9. They were simply not invited there.
