Expert: Opposition replaces strategy with tactics
Political scientist Yury Chavusau is sure of it.
He has made a speech at the V Congress of the new Belarusian diaspora of Europe and the USA and of the Belarusian democratic forces. The opposition will be busy only with tactical issues in the near future, Chavusau thinks.
Chavusau: "When the Belarusian opposition has no strategy, it replaces it with tactics. That is why most vexed questions will be defined by 2015 - unification, breakup, ways of choosing a single candidate and of his future actions."
At the same time, it will be rather difficult to chose a single candidate and he is unlikely to appear, Chavusau thinks. He admitted that "a multi-single candidate" may appear both for the primaries and congress.
