Hamenka and Volski see no sense in election observation
Their colleagues Kulinkovich and Vaitsyushkevich do not want to replace them in election centres either.
Lyavon Volski, Aleh Hamenka and Zmitser Bartosik observed the presidential election in three election centres.
Euroradio has asked the musicians if they want to observe the parliamentary election. Leader of the band "Palats" Aleh Hamenka flatly refused to do it and explained why.
Aleh Hamenka: “In fact, observers simply have no rights!”
Hamenka was not allowed to observe the vote count. Zmitser Bartosik had the chance. Observers in his election centre situated near KGB school were allowed to watch the vote count.
Zmitser Bartosik: “Alyaksandr Lukashenka scored 40% of votes there. Sannikau scored 25%. Nyaklyayeu and Ramanchuk scored 10% each, Statkevich - 5% and the others scored 3%. That is why I was happy to put my signature below the election results - it was clear that there was no victory in the first voting. However, observers in other election centres were not given the rights we had".
Leader of "Krambambulya" Lyavon Volski has also refused to observe the election.
Could anybody else replace them? Leader of "Neuro Dubel" Alyaksandr Kulinkovich does not want to. Zmitser Vaitsyushkevich has also refused to do it.
