Journalist Andrzej Poczobut to stand a closed-door trial
His wife Aksana has told this to Euroradio. She met with Andrzej today in Hrodna pre-trial detention center.
“Regional public prosecutor's office filed a corresponding appeal to the court. The court, naturally, satisfied the appeal - it will be a closed-door trial”, — Aksana has said.
According to her, Andrzej received a corresponding notification from the public prosecutor's office last Friday.
Adrzej gives his best regards to all his colleagues and invites them to come to the court building. It will be possible to get into the court hall only on the day of sentence pronouncement, Aksana Poczobut has said.
The court trial against the journalist of "Gazeta Wyborcza", who is accused of "insulting the state leader", has been appointed on June 14. It will start at 10 a.m. in the Lenin district court of Hrodna.
