Lukashenka: People must have bought up everything they wanted
The Belarusian President has conducted a meeting dedicated to actual issues of Belarus’ social and economic development.
"There should be no jerks. Finances and money do not like violence and jerks. And people must have already bought up everything they wanted”, - reports BelTA quoting Alyaksandr Lukashenka.
According to him, the government and the National Bank did not react to the world tendencies in time. “We expected it even before the presidential election; we knew that they would exercise purposeful and orderly pressure on us to destabilize the situation. And it has happened: in the foreign exchange market, then in the food market, and then a bomb exploded in the metro – that’s a real series of events”, - said Lukashenka.
"Sadly, representatives of the National Bank and of the government have gathered at the President’s today and are waiting for some additional decisions. Can’t you reach an agreement and make a coordinated decision, even if it is not popular? The President has said everything, why are you waiting for more instructions?”, - noted Lukashenka.
