Lukashenka sends greetings to Nicolás Maduro, invites him to Belarus
Belarusian state leader has greeted Nicolás Maduro who was elected President of Venezuela.
Nicolás Maduro, loyalist of the deceased President Hugo Chávez, got 50,66%, while the opposition candidate Henrique Capriles got 49,07%. Maduro was announced the winner.
Alyaksandr Lukashenka invited Nicolas Maduro to pay an official visit to
Belarus at any time convenient for him. "I think that the visit will
give an impetus to the development and enhancement of the
Belarusian-Venezuelan cooperation in many areas," BELTA quotes Lukashenka.
