Lyabedzka: Karnyayenka to join CEC in any case
It will happen despite the fact that the CEC has already refused to accept UCP leader Victar Karnyayenka having an advisory vote.
The UCP received the response signed by Lidziya Yarmoshyna on August 16. It was stated that Karnyayenka had been sent to the CEC by the Party congress that had no right to do it. Only the Political Council of the National Committee of the party could do it.
UCP leader Anatol Lyabedzka has called the reply biased chicanery and assured that Victar Karnyayenka will join the Central Election Commission anyway.
Anatol Lyabedzka: "A meeting of the Political Council will take place on Monday. We will register him with the help of the Political Council and the National Committee if necessary. Our task is to send him there and it means that he will be there. But we will express our position: the congress of the highest body of the party and it has the right to consider any question!"
The politician thinks that this attitude to the UCP is connected with the campaign "For Fair Elections Without Lukashenka" launched by the company in the framework of the parliamentary election.
